The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, Head of the State Aviation Administration, Oleksand Davydov, First Secretary of the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine Hans Rayn, Director of Coordination Bureau for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration at the CMU Vadym Triukhan, project leaders from Ukraine, France and Poland Dmytro Babeychuk, Anri-Zhorzh and Zbignev Ian Machka.   

In the opening speech Tetiana Kovtun noted that implementation of the Twinning project “Harmonization of Legislative Norms and Standards of Ukraine with Legislative Norms and Standards of Ukraine of the EU in Civil Aviation” promoted increase in service quality and citizen safety in civil aviation. She also mentioned that the project gave civil servants an opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues in Europe and promoted a better understanding of specifics of the European institutes of civil service. Tetiana Kovtun thanked the partners from EU for their enthusiasm and help in the realization of the project and European Commission for support of the projects in transport sphere. 

During the meeting, the project leader, Dmytro Babeychuk, was awarded with certificate of the MDCSU for long-term dedicated work exemplary provision of services.

After the meeting, a press conference dedicated to the results  the Twinning project was held.
