On May 23, 2013 at the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the official closure of the Twinning "Development of new statistical methodologies and indicators in selected areas of statistics according to the statistical standards of  EU" that jointly implemented by public authorities in statistics of Denmark and Ukraine.

On May 23, 2013 a meeting with a representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights was held.

On May 21, 2013 working meeting with representatives of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine on the Twinning project preparation, that will be implemented within the CIB program.

 On May 21, 2013 meeting of experts on strategic, legal and institutional aspects of the European integration process Ivo Rollis and Alexander Kolosovsky with the First Deputy Head of National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Igor Popov was held. Expert mission takes place in the framework of the Comprehensive Institution Building (CIB) Program on the implementation of the future Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

    The “Twinning Project for the Interior Troops of MIA of Ukraine” video program was submitted to the «EuropeAid Communication Awards 2013" by the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

Two-day workshop on energy efficiency and environmental safety for wheeled vehicles was held on May 23 - 24 in 2013 in the premises of the President Hotel Kyiv.

A working meeting of PAO

On May 20, 2013, the regular working meeting of Twinning PAO. During the  meeting the issues regarding the Comprehensive Institution Building (CIB), including the plan for institutional reform sanitary and phytosanitary measures area and the implementation of the future Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union were discussed.

   On May 17th, 2013 working meeting with German and Slovakian experts on preparing Fiche for Twinning Project “Improvement of methods of combating against organized crime and corruption due to approaching of models and methods of the criminal analysis of the EU Member States”, for Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

    On May 20, 2013 at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine session of the Ukrainian part of the Subcommittee № 7 «Science and technology, research and development, education, culture, public health, information society and media» Committee on Cooperation between Ukraine and the EU under the guidance of First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine - Ukrainian President Subcommittee of number 7 Yevhen Sulima was held.

Gender equality in civil service

The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (hereinafter - NAUCS) implements a number of measures to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men and to overcome all forms of discrimination based on gender. Subpoint 7 of paragraph 1 of Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service” as of December 10, 2015 No. 889-VIII defines that one of the principles of civil service is to ensure equal access to civil service, that is, the prohibition of all forms and manifestations of discrimination, the absence of unreasonable restrictions or providing unjustified advantages to certain categories of citizens during entry and completion of civil service.
