On November 20, 2013 the working meeting with the representatives of the State Inspection of Ukraine on Safety at Sea and River Transport regarding the Twinning project preparation “Adaptation of Ukrainian legal acts concerning ships control by Port State and Flag State according to the European experience” was conducted.

During the meeting the issues of Twinning Fiche preparation, in particular mandatory results of the future project were discussed .

For reference: since 2005 according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated on 06.10.2005 № 1424/2005 «The Issue on Provision of the Twinning Programme Implementation in Ukraine»  the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service directs and coordinates the activity on preparation and implementation the Twinning Programme in Ukraine. Moreover the NAUCS is the national coordinator of implementation of the institutional building instrument TAIEX and CIB Programme according to the relevant legal acts.
