On May 21, 2014 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (hereinafter – the NAUCS) the working meeting of the Head of the National agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Denys Brodskyi with the coordinator of Public Administration Reform Unit of EU Delegation to Ukraine Volodymyr Kondrachuk took place.

All possible ways of improving the implementation of Twinning and TAIEX instruments in Ukraine as well as the issues on civil service reform within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Instrument for 2014-2020 were discussed during the meeting.

Furthermore in order to strengthen institutional capacity of government authorities the issue of European experts’ support within the framework of the CIB Programme was discussed.

For reference: since 2005 in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated on October 6, 2005 № 1424/2005 “The Issue on the Twinning Programme Implementation in Ukraine” the NAUCS directs and coordinates the activity on preparation and implementation the Twinning Programme in Ukraine. Moreover the NAUCS is the coordinator of the institutional building instrument TAIEX and the CIB Programme according to the relevant legal acts.
