On March 27, 2015 under the initiative of the Government Office on European Integration the second three day training for civil servants of central executive authorities on practical issues of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement realization started. Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine – Director of the Government Office on European Integration Nataliya Hnydiuk in her opening remarks admitted that effective implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and well-timed adaptation of the Ukrainian legislation to “acquis communautaire” depended on institutional capacity development of civil servants, their understanding of the EU legislation as well as the EU official languages proficiency. Consequently trainings of this nature are of immediate interest and vital importance.   

Nataliya Hnydiuk expressed her gratitude to the main coorganizers of the training - the Polish American Freedom Foundation, the College of Europe in Natolin (Poland) and the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service.

The work language of the training is English. The issues of approximation of the Ukrainian legislation to the EU “acquis communautaire”, functioning of the EU legal framework, coordination of activities within the framework of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement implementation were considered during the event.

35 civil servants from the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the Committee for European Integration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Presidential Administration of Ukraine and Government Office on European Integration are the core participants.
