On August 13, 2015 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine of Civil Service the working meeting on implementation of the Course of Defence and Security for the Leading Personnel of Government Authorities of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Course) was conducted.

The Course is aimed at raising the level of professional competence of the Course participants in the area of foreign, security and defense policy of Ukraine in particular security challenges and threats in regional and trans-Atlantic dimensions as well as gaining practical experience in development and implementation of effective  state policy in the sphere of national security and defense.

The Manager of NATO- Ukraine Programme for Professional Development of the Civilian Personnel of the Sector of Security and Defence Ove Urup-Madsen, representatives of NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine took part in the event.

Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Maryna Kanavets, the Head of Expert and Analytical Unit Ivan Roshchin, the Head of the Division of International Cooperation Projects of the Projects Management Unit of the Inna Belobratova attended the event.

For reference: according to the conclusion of the Sixth Session of the Commission on NATO-Ukraine  partnership the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service was established as the national coordinator of the NATO- Ukraine Programme for Professional Development of the Civilian Personnel of the Sector of Security and Defence implementation.
