26-27 November 2015 TAIEX workshop on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) System at Manufacturing of Feed and Feed Additives was held. The beneficiary was State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine.
The aim of the workshop was to increase the knowledge of veterinary inspectors to better understand the European approach and methods of the implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system in the feed manufacturing establishments.
During the workshop experts presented information regarding main principles of HACCP system structure, normative documents that regulate it, development of system, in particular requirements to staff, facilities and documents. Also was presented issues concerning control of HACCP on the level of enterprises and state competent authorities.
In the workshop participated representatives of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service, Main Administration of Veterinary Medicine in Kyiv city, State Research Institute for Veterinary Medicine and Food Additives and others.
