On November 04, 2015 at the premises of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine the meeting on selection of the project proposals from the EU Member-States who expressed their wish to cooperate with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in the process of the Twinning Project implementation “Strengthening institutional capacities of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to conduct market studies and effectively enforce competition law in accordance with EU standards”.
The project implementation presupposes raising of the transparency and stability of competitiveness policy in Ukraine through further adaptation of the national legislation to the EU standards, improving law enforcement and advocacy of competition among government authorities that form the policy in area of competitiveness of Ukraine and the EU Member-States.
In this meeting took part the representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, EU Member-State partners in consortia, in particular Latvia and Austria, Poland and Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Germany and Lithuania, Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine and Embassies of prospective Eu member-states partners.
Yuliia Vasylko, Deputy Head of Projects Management Unit of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union attended the event.
For reference: since 2005 according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated on 06.10.2005 № 1424/2005 «The Issue on Provision of the Twinning Programme Implementation in Ukraine» the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service directs and coordinates the activity on preparation and implementation the Twinning Programme in Ukraine. Moreover the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service is the national coordinator of implementation of the institutional building instrument.
