On December 15, 2015 the regular meeting of the Steering Committee of NATO-Ukraine Joint Working Group on Defence Reform regarding the discussions of results of implementation of the NATO-Ukraine Programme for Professional Development of Civilian Personnel was held in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium.

During the speech Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Servants Kostiantyn Vaschenko presented main achievements of the Programme realization in 2015 and outlined priority directions of its realiazation for the next year.

Besides, Kostiantyn Vaschenko stressed on the importance of the adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service” which stipulates the main background for creation of the professional, politically impartial and effective civil service.

Participants of the meeting stated the importance of the Programme realization in the context of public administration reform and strengthening the cooperation of Ukraine and NATO.
