On December 15, 2015 at the premises of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine the selection meeting of the partners for Twinning project “Approximation of the legislation of Ukraine in the fields of certification of aerodromes/airports and airworthiness with the relevant EU norms and standards” for the State Aviation Service of Ukraine was held.

This Twinning project presupposes the support the sustainable development of the civil aviation in Ukraine and its integration to the EU transport system through adaptation of the national legislation to the EU norms and standards.

During the meeting some proposals regarding prospective cooperation within the framework of the Twinning project which had been received from Spain and the consortium of the countries including Austria and Croatia were reviewed.

Deputy Head of the Mission of Embassy of Spain to Ukraine Dr. Iago Gil Aguado, Ambassador of Austria in Ukraine Hermine Poppeller and the representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine attended the meeting.
