On January 28, 2016 at the premises of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine (hereinafter - MoI) the working meeting concerning the discussion of preparation of the Twinning contract details for the MoI “Support to Improving the Safety of Multimodal Dangerous Goods Transport in Ukraine”.

The main objective of the project is to improve multimodal dangerous goods transport system including road, rail, sea and river (IWW) as well as multimodal connections in line with the European rules and standards.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss of the status of the Twinning contract preparation, in particular issues regarding definition of mandatory results and key priorities while implementation, as well as future project activities.

In  the meeting took part the MS Project Leader from Spain Lius Martinez Jimenez,  Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oksana Reyter, sector manager on transport of the Delegation of the EU to Ukraine Svitlana Didkivska, European experts involved into Twinning project implementation, representative of MoI and other stakeholders.

The Senior Consultant of the Twinning Coordination Sector of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Olesia Voroniuk attended the meeting.
