On November 8, 2016 at the premises of the EU Delegation to Ukraine the working meeting aimed at discussion of the current state of Twinning instrument implementation in Ukraine was held.

Participants of the meeting considered issues of normative legal and organizational support for implementation of institution building instruments Twinning and TAIEX as well as further steps of improvement its coordination.

During the meeting the issue of preparation and organization of the Tenth Annual Regional Conference on Institution Building was discussed. The Conference is to be held on November 17–18 in Kyiv within the framework of the Working Group (Panel) “Public Administration Reform” of the Thematic Platform “Democracy, Good Governance and Stability” of the EU initiative “Eastern Partnership”, under support of the EU Delegation to Ukraine. The Head of Operations Section “Good Governance and Democratization” Martin Klaucke, First Counsellor, the Head of “Economic Cooperation, Social and Regional Development” Juana Mera Cabello, Sector Manager “Education, Science, Information Society” Vira Rybak, Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Maryna Kanavets as well as representatives of the Center Yuliia Lykhach and Anastasiia Terekh took part in the meeting.

according to the relevant regulatory acts the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service is the national coordinator of institution building instruments Twinning, TAIEX and CIB programme implementation. In order to provide effective coordination of Twinning, TAIEX instruments and CIB programme the Twinning Programme Administration office in Ukraine was created, its functions are executed by the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to Standards of the European Union.
