On September 28, 2016 at the premises of the National Commission for State Energy and Public Utilities Regulation of Ukraine the Second Steering Committee Meeting for the Twinning Project “Support the National Commission for State Energy and Public Utilities Regulation of Ukraine in the Process of Electricity Market Reform”, that is aimed at capacity building of the National Commission for State Energy and Public Utilities Regulation of Ukraine was held.

BC Project Leader Volodymyr Yevdokimov in his opening speech stressed the importance of Twinning project implementation and outlined the main achievements of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities Regulation of Ukraine. MS Project Leader Miroslav Luptak presented the second quarterly report as well as RTA Kristian Takac identified plans for the next reporting period.

Head of Operations Section “Development Related to Infrastructure (Energy, Transport) and Environment” Johannes Baur and Sector Manager of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Olha Simak, representative from the EU Member States Joseph Holenchik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine Juraj Siváček, Counselor of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ukraine Roman Zhatko and other stakeholders took part in the event.

On behalf of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union the Deputy Head of the Expert and Analytical Unit Anastasiia Terekh and Senior Consultant of the SIGMA and CIB Project Division of the Projects Management Unit Olena Rachynska attended the event.

As a result of the working meeting the quarterly report was signed.
