On January 26, 2017 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Servicethe meeting of the Coordination Group on TAIEX implementation was held.
The Head of the NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko welcomed the participants and underlined effectiveness of going process of TAIEX implementation as well as indicated that during the Annual national contact points meeting on the implementation of Twinning, TAIEX and SIGMA “Institutional Building Days” Ukraine was once again ranked as the leader among the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) member states on TAIEX events organization and attraction of government authorities' representatives.
Director of the Twinning Programme Administration Office Maryna Kanavets presented the report on European Commission (EC) technical assistance results in 2016 and represented the draft plan of engaging EC external aid within the framework of TAIEX, that was developed on the basis of proposals submitted by government authorities .
In addition, TAIEX and Public Finance Management and Budget Transparency Sectors Coordinator at the EU Delegation to Ukraine Natalia Starostenko presented the results of TAIEX involvement in 22 partner countries of the ENP and highlighted the new aspects of TAIEX development identified by the EC.
During the Coordination Group meeting all the participants discussed the draft plan and decided on its approval.
In order to implement point 12 of the CMU Resolution No 32 “On approval of the preparation, approbation and implementation of the Plan of engaging EC external aid within the framework of TAIEX ” as of January 13, 2016 approved plan will be submitted for consideration to the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine.
Representatives of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union, Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, EU Delegation to Ukraine took part in the meeting.

In addition, according to the relevant regulatory acts the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service is the national coordinator of institutional building instrument TAIEX and CIB programme implementation in Ukraine.
In order to provide effective coordination of Twinning, TAIEX instruments and CIB programme the Twinning Programme Administration office in Ukraine was created, its functions are executed by the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to Standards of the European Union.
