On February 10, 2017 at the premises of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service the working meeting of the Head of the NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko with the Regional Manager of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Romania Daniel Seiberling took place.
The event was held in order to discuss the priority areas of cooperation between the NAUCS and the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
The Head of the NAUCS Kostiantyn Vashchenko in his opening speech presented the main activities of the NAUCS in 2017 as well as reported on amendments to the Provision of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service (the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of January 25, 2017 No 48). Furthermore, it was underlined that in the context of approving by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the Law “On Service in Local Self-Government Authorities” as of February 9, 2017 No 2489 in the second reading, the issue on training of civil servants and officials of local self-government authorities as well as providing appropriate methodological assistance acquire relevance.
The Project Manager of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Romania Daniel Seiberling underlined the importance of beneficial partnership with the NAUCS while organizing mutual activities within the framework of the training programmes as well as stressed on the key achievement of the project, in particular, prepared manual for HR service managers “Civil Service Reform in Questions and Answers”. Furthermore, Daniel Seiberling expressed the interest in strengthening cooperation with the NAUCS.
The Assistant to Manager of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Romania Olena Maksymova also took part in the event.
On behalf of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union the Director Maryna Kanavets and the Deputy Head of the Projects Management Unit Inna Belobratova attended the event.
