On July 15-19, 2019 a training “YOUNG UA Summer Academy 2019” for young civil servants of Ukraine was conducted within the framework of the NATO Program for Professional Development of Civilian Personnel in Security and Defence Sector of Ukraine in order to share best practices in leadership, change management and effective communications, as well as to exchange the experience and encourage professional networking among civil servants.
The event was organized by the NATO Representation to Ukraine and supported by the Government Office for Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
During the training with the involvement of national and international experts, the participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the information relating Ukraine–NATO cooperation, considered key aspects of leadership, discussed modern approaches to successful change management and effective communication, and developed relevant practical skills.
Representatives of central executive authorities, other state authorities, regional state administrations and public organizations participated in the event.
