On October 03, 2023, in the online mode, a meeting with the representatives of the Office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Ukraine and the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union was held to discuss cooperation in the framework of professional training of civil servants through international technical assistance and other forms of international cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the perspectives and opportunities of cooperation on training civil servants in the long term. In the context of future cooperation, the Japanese party expressed interest in providing assistance in view of its experience in applying best practices in the civil service and disseminating innovative approaches to public sector development. In particular, the partners presented scholarship programs aimed at improving the skills of civil servants in various fields of activity.
In turn, representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency presented the experience and prospects of attraction assistance under long-term programs that will contribute to the economic and social growth of the country.
The meeting contributed to a fruitful and partnership discussion of the prospects for further cooperation with the aim of institutionalizing the process of organizing training and professional improvement of civil servants through international technical assistance and other forms of international cooperation.
