On November 22, 2010 working meeting on preparation project proposal of Twinning project for the Ministry was held.

On November 22, 2010 Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union/Twinning Programme Administration Office Nataliya Kyrychenko started her assignment to Tallinn (Estonia) to participate in
2nd seminar on administrative reform in the Eastern Partnership countries "Effective policy coordination as key to successful of the ENP Action Plan implementation.

From 15 to 19 November 2010 training on Public Policies and Performance Measurement is held in Ukraine, organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine. The training aims at supporting the staff dealing with preparation and implementation of the budget support operations in Ukraine.

The meeting was held in the premises of National Electricity Regulatory Commission. There were discussed realization of activities during of the fourth quarterly period (from 18.06.10 to 17.09.2010). Also the participants reviewed the report and general project progress by Component and planned of the project implementation in next quarter.

Participants discussed issues which appear during of the events organization, further steps in the TAIEX instrument implementation, in particular using TAIEX instrument on the regional level.

Andriy Vyshnevsky, Deputy Head of the Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine/Director of Twinning Programme Administration Office welcomed participants. Jean-Marie Gobeaux, Team Leader of the Infrastructure Team, DG Enlargement, European Commission presented mechanisms and procedures of institutional building tool TAIEX usage. Nataliya Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of Twinning Programme Administration Office informed about TAIEX application in Ukraine, key achievements, challenges and prospects.

26 October 2010 the round table “Main training bodies of the civil servants in EU member states” was hold under Twinning project “Support to the development and improvement of the civil servants training system in Ukraine”. Beneficiaries of the project are National academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine (NAPA) and Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine (MDCSU).

During the meeting representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine expressed satisfaction with the decision to extend the project for another 2,5 months. Also participants discussed coordination and organizational issues, implementation of activities during the seventh quarterly period (from 05.07.2010 to 04.10.2010) and planned of the project implementation in next quarter.

At the Building of Government a working meeting under the direction of Director of Bureau for European Integration Yevhen Perelyhin on reforming a food safety system of Ukraine took place.

Representatives of Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine, State Committee of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine, State Department for Adaptation of the Legislation of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, experts of non-governmental analytical centres took part in the meeting.

25 October 2010 within the building of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the 6th meeting of Permanent Ukraine-Lithuania Commission on European Integration took place.

During the meeting the Sides discussed urgent questions of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, defined the priorities for cooperation between Ukraine and Lithuania for 2011.

On December 7, 2010 work group meeting on preparation of IRP in the area "state aid" was held. 

The meeting was attended by representatives of state bodies of Ukraine, in particular, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and the EU Delegation in Ukraine, Ukrainian-European policy and legal advice centre (Ueplac) and independent experts.
