On October 1, 2025, a meeting of CAF National Correspondents was held in Copenhagen, organised by the CAF European Resource Centre at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA).
With the support and assistance of the OECD/SIGMA programme and the GIZ Regional Fund ‘Administrative Reform in the Eastern Partnership Countries’, representatives of the Ukrainian National Resource Centre CAF took part in the event: First Deputy Director of the Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to European Union Standards Hanna Tretiachenko and Head of the Project Management Department Angela Kukulia.
This opportunity allowed Ukraine to remain actively engaged in the European CAF community, to exchange knowledge and experience with colleagues from other countries, and to strengthen our institutional capacity in promoting quality and excellence within the Ukrainian public sector.
Representatives of Ukraine presented their experience of digitising the CAF self-assessment process, as well as the prospects for the development of the Ukrainian National CAF Resource Centre.
A special event at the meeting was the presentation of the new director of the European Resource Centre CAF at EIPA, Ms. Tihana Puzić. She was introduced by the former head of the Centre, Ms. Gracia Vara Arribas, who emphasised that she was handing CAF over to ‘safe hands’, as Tihana is known for her dedication to developing the model, her in-depth knowledge, broad experience and genuine passion for her work. At the same time, Ms. Gracia herself announced that she would now focus her activities on issues of reform and development in the field of public procurement in the European Union.
The agenda also included discussions on the updated CAF External Feedback Guidelines – CAF Excellence Recognition (CER) Guidelines, as well as preparations for the upcoming training in Brussels and discussions on updating the CAF model itself and the potential of a future quality conference.
Due to Ukraine’s active participation in the CAF network of users and national correspondents, our experience in digital innovation is making a significant contribution to the development of European practices for improving public administration.
