On December 23, 2010 the meeting on attraction of international assistance and implementation of action plan of visa regime liberalization was held under the chairmanship of Olena Kucherenko, Director of the Department of International Technical Assistance and cooperation with international financial organizations of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

On December 16, 2010 workshop on Food and Feed Safety in the framework of TAIEX instrument was held. The event was organized by Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

On December 16, 2010 the 2^nd Steering Committee meeting of the Twinning project "Supporting the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in the fields of Public Debt Management and Budgetary Forecasting" was held in the premises of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

In the course of the Steering Committee key issues and results of the project during the second quarter, covering the period from 1 September to 30 November this year, were discussed. It was also agreed on the project plan in the next quarter and other current issues.

On December 14, 2010 the information section on Twinning Fiche "Support to Civil Service Development in Ukraine" was held.

The aim of the information section was to inform interested EU Member States on the situation of the development of civil service in Ukraine and the problems which will be solved through the implementation of the Twinning project "Support to Civil Service Development in Ukraine". Also it was held for providing the high quality of EU Member States proposals.  

On December 14, 2010 the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development hosted the 4^th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning project “Enhancing Performance of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development in line with best European practices”.

On February 3, 2011 the Steering Committee meeting of the Twinning project "Regulatory and Legal Capacity Strengthening of Natural Gas Regulation in NERC”  and meeting on preparation Twinning project "Strengthening the Protection and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in Ukraine took place. 

On 2 February 2011 the working meeting of First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mr Anatoliy Maksiuta with SIGMA Programme experts and representatives of the Delegation of the European Union and a set of working meetings with representatives of the SIGMA Programme and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine on drafting of the Institution Reform Plan in the sphere of steering and implementation process for the association agreement took place.

On February 1, 2011 Head of MDCSU Tymofiy Motrenko met with SIGMA Programme experts and representatives of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine in the premises of MDCSU.

The meeting was dedicated to consideration of Institutional Reform Plan in the field “steering and implementation process for the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement”.
