On May 13, 2011 the meeting between Svitlana Repik, Head of the TAIEX Issues Sector, Twinning Programme Administration Office (PAO) and Henri Barnabot, Counsellor on Agrarian issues of the Government of Ukraine took place.

On May 10, 2011 the meeting of representatives of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union and the School of Senior Civil Service took place with a Senior Project Coordinator of the Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralization Support Project Oksana Garnets and Knowledge Management Specialist of the project Maryana Kulya.

On 6 May, 2011 Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataliya Kyrychenko took part in the 5th Meeting of the Eastern Partnership - Platform 1: "Democracy, good governance and stability" in the framework of EU initiative “Eastern Partnership”, which took place in Brussels (Kingdom of Belgium).

 On 5 May, 2011 Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataliya Kyrychenko started her assignment to Brussels (Kingdom of Belgium) in order to take part in the 5th Meeting of the Eastern Partnership - Platform 1: "Democracy, good governance and stability" in the framework of EU initiative “Eastern Partnership”.

On April 21, 2011 the meeting of the Coordination Group on the Institutional Reform Plan in sphere of migration in the framework of the Comprehensive Institution Building Instrument was held in the premises of Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine.

During the meeting participants discussed preliminary findings and recommendations to the Institutional Reform Plan draft produced by Marta Jaroszewicz, Head of Department for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova of the Centre for Eastern Studies. Also the issues regarding structure of the Institutional Reform Plan, tasks, needs of the external assistance and further steps were negotiated.

On April 19, 2011 selection meeting on Twinning project “Further development of National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) capacities according to European practices” for National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine was held at the premises of EU Delegation to Ukraine. The meeting was headed by Jean-Francois Loubere, Attaché, EUD.

 On April 20, 2011 at the National Bank of Ukraine the 5^th Steering Committee of Twinning Project "Strengthening NBU potential through the approximation to EU standards of central banking" was held. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the project implementation during the 5^th quarter, covering the period from 22 December, 2010 till 21 March, 2011.

On May 25, 2011 at the premises of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development the 6th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning project "Enhancing Performance of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development in line with best European practices" was held.

During the meeting it was discussed implementation of activities in the framework of the sixth quarterly period (from 1.02.11 to 31.04.11). Also the participants reviewed the report and general project progress by components and have planned the project implementation in next quarter. Also discussed the issue of defining a new project beneficiary - the State Agency for Investments and Management of National Projects of Ukraine and the issue on changes to the Twinning contract due to changing of the beneficiary.

In May 2011 the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union became a partner of an independent analytical portal Eastern Partnership Community. The parties agreed upon publishing and exchange of information and knowledge on relations between the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union (see, e.g.: http://www.easternpartnership.org/publication/2011-05-19/cib-programme-crossroads-european-integration-and-domestic-reforms).

On May 24, 2011 at premises of the Delegation EU to Ukraine a meeting on the Twinning project “Enhancing Performance of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development in line with best European Practice” was held.
