A joint work meeting with SIGMA Programme experts and representatives of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine took place
On February 1, 2011 a joint work meeting with SIGMA Programme experts, representatives of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine and representatives of Ukrainian state bodies took place in the premises of MDCSU.
The meeting was devoted to consideration of Institutional Reform Plan in the field “steering and implementation process for the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement”.
Working Meetings on Formulation of a Sector Support Programme in the Field of Public Administration Reform in Ukraine
On 1 February 2011 at the premises of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine and at the premises of the President’s Administration joint meetings between representatives of the SIGMA Programme and the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine on formulation of a sector support programme in the field of public administration reform in Ukraine took place.
Ukrainian side was represented by the representatives of Administration of the President of Ukraine, Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The First Meeting of Inter-agency Working Group on Developing of Draft Law of Ukraine „On State Aid to Business Entities” Was Held
On 27 January 2011 at the premises of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine the first meeting of Inter-agency Working Group on Developing of Draft Law of Ukraine „On State Aid to Business Entities” took place.
The meeting was opened by First Deputy Head of Antimonopoly Committee Mr Yurii Kravchenko.
Among the participants were representatives of concerned public authorities – Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Ministry of Finance, State Tax Administration of Ukraine, Main Department of the Civil Service, and experts of the project “Harmonisation of Competition and Public Procurement Systems in Ukraine with EU Standards” financed by the European Union. Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine was represented by Deputy Director of Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Ms Nataliya Kyrychenko.
4th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning Project in National Bank of Ukraine
On January 27, 2011 at the National Bank of Ukraine the 4th Steering Committee of Twinning Project "Strengthening NBU potential through the approximation to EU standards of central banking" was held. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the project implementation during the 4th quarter, covering the period from 22 September till 22 December, 2010.
On 26 January 2011 the working meeting within the frame of Institution Reform Plan (IRP) in the sphere of migration took place at the premises of British Embassy Kyiv
Among the participants were John Bateson, Second Secretary Political of British Embassy Kyiv, Policy Delivery Team, Svitlana Yavorska, Head of Projects Section, British Embassy Kyiv, Andy McFarlin, regional operations manager and head of visa section of British Embassy Moscow, Ann Williams, assistant director visa policy, international policy of UK Border Agency and Nataliya Kyrychenko, Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union.
On 26 January 2011 the seminar "Preparation and Implementation Stages of the Twinning Projects" for representatives of public authorities, Twinning concepts of which were approved on the 8th TPCG meeting, was held
The aim of the meeting was BA consulting on the next stages of Twinning project documentation preparation, discussion and solving different problematic issues and planning of next steps on Twinning projects preparation.
Seminar “State Aid Monitoring and Control System in the EU Countries: Experience for Ukraine in the Context of Institution Bbuilding”
On 24 January 2011 at the premises of Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine the seminar “State Aid Monitoring and Control System in the EU Countries: Experience for Ukraine in the Context of Institution Bbuilding” took place. The seminar was held within the frame of Institution Reform Plan (IRP) in the sphere of state aid. The event was organised by Main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine with support of British Embassy in Kyiv.

Assignment of Deputy Director of Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Nataiya Kyrychenko is going on with the aim to participate in 2-day Worksop on Institutional Building and CIB Programme Implementation and to meet representatives of Georgia public administration.
Selection meeting on Twinning project for SASU
On February 22, 2011 selection meeting on Twinning project "Support the implementation of the Norms and Standards of the EU in the Spheres of Airports, Aerodromes and Air Traffic Management/Air Navigation Services" was held at the premises of EU Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine.
The seminar “Analysis of the Legislation on State Aid and Study of Fundamentals of the EU Countries in This Field” Was Held
On 22 February 2011 at the premises of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine the seminar “Analysis of the Legislation on State Aid and Study of Fundamentals of the EU Countries in This Field” took place. The seminar was held within the framework of drafting the Law of Ukraine “On State Aid to Business Entities”.
The meeting was opened by First Deputy Head of Antimonopoly Committee Mr Yurii Kravchenko.
