 On March 23, 2010 in the premises of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development the 5th Steering Committee meeting of Twinning project "Enhancing Performance of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investment and Development in line with best European practices" was held.

On 22 March 2011 at the premises of Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine the third meeting of Inter-agency Working Group on Developing of Draft Law of Ukraine „On State Aid to Business Entities” took place. The meeting was opened by First Deputy Head of Antimonopoly Committee Mr Yurii Kravchenko.

On March 16, 2011 at the premises of the Twinning Programme Administration Office (PAO) working meeting on Twinning Operations in Ukraine was held.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss main features and procedures of Twinning in Ukraine and to identify areas of possible cooperation with Ukraine and assistance to Ukrainian partners in the area of customs.

The last day of the study visit

The study visit of the School of Senior Civil Service Director Oleksandr Saienko and the First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the European Union Standards Andriy Bega comes to an end. Today, on March 16, 2011, they had a meeting with Francois Gagnon, the Director of the Director of Department of strategic change, organizational leadership and innovation of Canada School of Public Service.

 Today, on March 15, 2011, the School of Senior Civil Service Director Oleksandr Saienko and the First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the European Union Standards Andriy Bega had a meeting with Louise Bourque, Executive Director of Institute on Governance Scientific Center; Mary Brodhead, Executive Director of Scientific Center of Canadian Food Inspection Agency; Lynn Roseberry, Director of Scientific Center of Canadian Public Service Ministry; Elizabeth Stoqua, Director of Center for Skills Development and Training, Ministry of Infrastructure Development and State Tenders of Canada.

 On March 14, 2011, on the eighth day of the study visit to the Canadian School of Civil Service (Ottawa) of the School of Senior Civil Service Director Oleksandr Saienko and the First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of Civil Service to the European Union Standards Andriy Bega, the delegates met Donna Achimov, Canadian School of Civil Service Vice-President and the Board of Directors Member of the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX), and EvaKmiecic, United Way of Canada Vice-President, Supervisory Board Member of the Institute on Governance and former Vice-President of APEX Secretariat.

The study visit to the Canadian School of Civil Service (Ottawa) is performed with the support of “Ukrainian Civil Service Human Resource Management Reform”. The Ukrainian delegation consists of First Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the European Union Standards Andriy Bega and the School of Senior Civil Service Director Oleksandr Saienko.

 On April 11, 2011 the seminar on application of TAIEX instrument in Ukraine was held in the premises of the Main Department of Civil Service of Ukraine. The main goal of the meeting was to familiarize professional associations with external assistance instrument TAIEX, which aimed to enhance the professional capacity of the public servants, information exchange and adaptation of the national legislation to the European Union standards.

Deputy Director of the Center for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union Ms Nataliya Kyrychenko had the meeting with the UNHCR Regional Representative for the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine Mr Oldrich Andrysek.

On 31 March 2011 at the premises of main Department of the Civil Service of Ukraine meeting on discussion of draft Institution Reform Plan within the framework of the Comprehensive Institution Building Programme in migration field.
